We have added a File integrity checker module to StatsAnalyzer. Although this module does not protect your site’s file integrity, it can be used to check your website for file integrity breeches.
The module lets the webmaster catalog an entire site when it is in an untainted state. It can then be configured to periodically compare the site to this list, and report the following:
– modified files and directories;
– potential back-doors (files added to the site);
– files removed from the site;
– files writable by the web-server
StatsAnalyzer’s File integrity checker will perform a complete website scan and also check if each file is intact by comparing file’s current checksum to it’s original checksum.
